Purpose and limits
A controlled notification boundary
Directed Intelligence is an operator-controlled software system. Its Gmail integration exists only to deliver system-health and incident notifications—not to provide email management, marketing, or mailbox analysis.
Keep credentials local
The OAuth client secret and refresh token remain in macOS Keychain. Access tokens exist only in memory.
Read mailbox content
DI does not request permission to inspect messages, folders, contacts, search results, or attachments.
Human control
External action remains bounded
- A trusted human approves commissioning and protected changes.
- The destination, credential fingerprint, message hash, OAuth scope, and network address are verified before use.
- DI never automatically retries a Gmail send after transmission begins.
- An uncertain result is quarantined for human reconciliation.
- Credential and recipient replacement preserve the evidence chain.
No advertising, analytics, or tracking
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and contains no advertising or behavioral tracking code.
